AREN'T ALL ELECTRICIANS THE SAME?
Although electricians can share the same qualifications they often have different experience & knowledge in specific industries. Where some electricians may specialise in commercial or industrial, others may be involved in solar or communications.
ARE APPLIANCES STILL WORTH REPAIRING?
Although the cost of purchasing a new appliance has significantly dropped over time making it much cheaper to purchase new white goods it can still be economical to consider repairing instead.
Replacing basic components such as drain pumps, heating elements, belts, switches, seals, hoses, sensors, fans etc. can make for a simple & cost effective repair.
WHY IS ELECTRICAL WORK STRICTLY NOT D.I.Y.?
There are standards, acts and codes of conduct that are in place to ensure your safety. It takes years of training to become a licenced electrician along with the need for specialist equipment.
Never attempt your own electrical work. Compliance and safety can only be proven by a suitably trained technician.
ISN'T THERE ONLY ONE WAY TO INSTALL A SPLIT SYSTEM AIR CONDITIONER?
A split system installation completed by us includes the following which possibly may not come standard with other installers such as nitrogen pressure testing, additional fixings behind head unit mounting bracket, new pipework used with every installation, all required electrical work & every unit installed on a safety switch protected supply.
WILL YOU HAVE THE SPARE PARTS I NEED WITH YOU?
Although we carry a variety of spare parts on board some components are model specific and may need to be special ordered in after the initial diagnosis.
Our supplier network can provide us with pricing & availability for your consideration before proceeding with a repair quote.
DO YOU DO WORK FOR REAL ESTATES?
We have significant experience working with property managers & diligently manage each work order to strive for a great outcome for all parties.
We understand that property managers don't have time to be chasing up tradespeople and rely on quality workmanship at competitive rates.
HOW DO I ARRANGE SERVICE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
We are a mobile service with all work being carried out on-site at your home or business.
After making contact to discuss job requirements, an agreed day & time will be confirmed for us to attend. Bookings always include a buffer to allow for any unexpected delays.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES & ACCEPTED PAYMENT TYPES?
Cost of call out will vary depending on your locality but always includes up to the first 30 mins of initial labor / diagnosis. This is typically enough time to provide a diagnosis or progress with repairs depending on individual circumstances. Any further costs are discussed for approval before to proceeding with work.
The attending technician will have a mobile eftpos terminal which accepts most cards & is our preferred method of payment. We also accept cash but require notice if change will be required.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. We do not provide service after hours, weekends or during public holidays.
